Kevin C. Foushee
Kevin C. Foushee was born and raised in Sanford, NC and attended Lee County Senior High School from 1994-1998, graduating as the Valedictorian of his class. Kevin thereafter attended Wake Forest University where he graduated Cum Laude in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts having double-majored in Politics and Economics. That fall, Kevin enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law from which he received his Juris Doctor in 2004. While in law school, Kevin interned with the firm of Staton, Doster, Post & Silverman, P.A. (currently Post | Foushee | Gordon – Trial Lawyers) gaining invaluable experience and ultimately helping in his decision to return to Sanford to practice law.
Kevin began practicing law in August 2004 representing clients in a wide variety of matters ranging from family law to criminal defense. Today, Kevin's practice almost exclusively focuses on Family Law and Criminal Defense.
Kevin’s Family Law practice includes steadfast representation in Divorce, Child Custody, Equitable Distribution, Child Support, Separation Agreements and Spousal Support & Alimony.
Kevin’s Criminal Defense practice ranges from minor traffic tickets to death penalty cases. Kevin represents clients charged with serious felony offenses, including but not limited to, drug trafficking offenses, sex offenses, assaults, homicide and robberies. Additionally, Kevin's District Court practice includes representation in a wide variety of traffic matters including Driving While Impaired cases and non-traffic matters such as crimes of domestic violence, misdemeanor assaults and minor drug possession offenses. From the most minor offense to the most serious of offense, Kevin endeavors to protect his client's rights and liberty.
Outside of work, Kevin is an avid sports fan and enjoys spending time with family, friends and his two Pit Bulls.
