Kristy Gaines Patton

Kristy Gaines Patton was born, raised and still resides in Sanford, North Carolina. She graduated from Lee Christian School in 1998. After graduation Kristy began working as a teller for First Bank. When she chose to leave First Bank in May 2007 to pursue her desire to practice law, she had risen to the position of Assistant Vice President and managed her own branch in Harnett County, North Carolina. During the time that Kristy was employed by First Bank, she continued to further her education. In 2001 she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Campbell University Lundy-Fetterman School of Business with her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. In 2003 she graduated Summa Cum Laude from Webster University with her Master of Business Administration.

In 2007 Kristy returned to Campbell University to attend the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. While at Campbell Kristy was actively involved in the Campbell Law Innocence Project. She was also a member of the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity and Women in Law. In May 2010 Kristy received her Juris Doctor from Campbell University. Kristy was also a member of the first graduating class from the Raleigh, North Carolina campus.

In May 2009, during her second year of law school, Kristy began an internship with Doster, Post, Foushee, Post & Patton, P.A. - Trial Attorneys and has remained with the firm since that time. Kristy was admitted to the North Carolina Bar and began practicing law in August 2010.

Kristy is a single mother of an amazing son. She has personally experienced all aspects of family law and draws upon these personal experiences in her zealous representation of her clients in family law matters.

During her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cheering on her son at all of his sporting events, cheering on the Duke Blue Devils, traveling, water sports, scuba diving, snowboarding and relaxing at the beach or the mountains.
